"Early Early, Make the First Step"

On 26 and 27 October 2018, the Symposium dedicated to the World Arthritic Day, entitled "Early Early, Make the First Step" will be held in the Ethno Village "Stanišić" in Bijeljina.
The organizers of this Symposium are the Association of Reumatologists of the Republic of Srpska, Bosnian League against Rheumatism, University of Banja Luka, Medical Faculty Banja Luka, University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, "Dr Miroslav Zotović" Institute and the Health Care Center in Bijeljina.

Advanced Symposium Symposium of Shoulder Rehabilitation: Hands on Shoulder! will be held on 09. and 10.11.2018. in Belgrade (Hotel "Trim" Complex of the Republic Institute for Sports).
The objectives of the Symposium are to familiarize themselves with the basics of the clinical examination in order to establish the correct diagnosis, to adopt the most modern protocols for the treatment of the most common shoulder disorders and to master the kinesiotherapy rehabilitation treatment of shoulder disorders.

The conference will be held at the Congress centre of Slatina Spa near Banja Luka.

We are honored and pleased to invite you to the Symposium "Surgical treatment of injuries and diseases of the peripheral nervous system - Basic Considerations, Controversies, Contemporary Attitudes and Innovations" that will be held at the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation "Dr Miroslav Zotović" in Banja Luka in the period from 07-09. September 2018.
The Symposium is organized by the Department for Neurorehabilitation of the Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation "Dr Miroslav Zotović" Banja Luka and Department of Peripheral Nervous Diseases and Injuries, Functional Neurosurgery and Pain Surgery of the Clinic for Neurosurgery of the Clinical Center of Serbia in cooperation with the Association of Physiatrists of the Republic of Srpska and the Association of Neurosurgeons Serbia.

"Physical activity in service of health"

Dear colleagues,
On Saturday, September 30, the Center for Continuing Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad organizes an educational course titled "Physical activity in service of health".
The course is intended for physicians of gynecology, orthopedics and traumatology specialists, physicians and all interested physicians.
The goal of this course is to get acquainted with Aviva and Schrot exercise methods and the opportunities they provide with regard to health. Through lectures, practical exercises and work in a small group, attendees will be provided with detailed information on the clinical anatomy of the reproductive system of women, clinical anatomy and biomechanics of the spinal column, the importance of proper nutrition, regular physical activity and proper breathing on the health.
After the lecture, there is a practical part where the participants will be presented with Aviva and Schrot methods of exercising and proper breathing, and the participants themselves will actively participate in their performance. The knowledge gained will be used in practice, which will greatly contribute to the preservation of health and the efficient treatment of patients.

We are pleased to inform you that the first online course on Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy for physiatrists, organized by the UEMS PRM Board in collaboration with the ESWT SISC of ESPRM will start in October 2017. The aim of the course is to provide the theoretical knowledge necessary for the safe and effective use of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy.
The course comprises five modules, including interactive lessons, webinars, journal club sessions, online workshops, assessments and will lead to a certificate of theoretical competency in shock wave therapy. The online theoretical course can be complemented by practical training at the shockwave workshop of the ESPRM 2018 Congress in Vilnius [subject to the registration policy of the Congress].
Two PRM trainees from each country will be accepted for free at the first ESWT online course. We would like to ask each national manager to propose two PRM trainees. Trainees have to register with the UEMS PRM Board at
www.euro-prm.org (registration is free for PRM trainees).
